Statira Sulphur Aphrissa statira
Statira Sulphur has only been recorded once as a stray from Florida when James C. Brooks collected a specimen in Ware County on August 12, 1960. It is basically a South Florida species, but it strays north in small numbers. The hostplants in Florida are Dalbergia ecastophyllum and Calliandra. It is included here as a matter of historical interest.
