Obscure Skipper 
Panoquina panoquinoides

 Obscure Skipper is known in Georgia from one photograph taken by Pierre Howard in a brackish marsh in Glynn County on August 30, 2012. The hostplant is seashore saltgrass (Distichlis spicata) (Cech and Tudor, 2005). The species is found in similar habitat along the coast of Florida. The spots on the ventral HW “may be lost with wear or simply not be present.” (Cech and Tudor, 2005). The identification was verified by Jeffrey Glassberg. Conservation Status: Unknown.
