Little Glassywing

Little Glassywing is common but local thoughout the state. It is found in moist habitat along the woodland edges. The hostplant is purpletop (Tridens flavus). There are two broods: the spring flight is from late April to early June; the summer flight is from mid-July to Mid September. Early Date: April 27 (Crawford County); Late Date: September 30 (Washington County). Conservation Status: Secure.
